Many years ago our founder, Denise Joy (Joy), began working as a massage therapist and became an ordained minister.  While she enjoyed her work very much, her understanding of therapeutic touch as a way to help others feel better in their mind, body and spirit. Through word of mouth, the remarkable effect of the work on her clients came to the attention of oncology doctors who took a chance on Joy.  They could not deny the benefits their patients were experiencing with Joy. As a result of this positivity, the doctors created a permanent place for Joy and her practitioners. Joy works one-on-one with patients through oncology massage, aromatherapy, Reiki, Reflexology and Spiritual support. Through these techniques she is helping people to reduce stress, redirect their energies toward their healing, while increasing their personal sense of peace.   

The Center has many practitioner’s who will provide a strong mix of therapies, modalities and philosophies that are considered “alternative” in a conventional therapeutic context and have been proven over many decades to offer considerable comfort and help to people facing medical challenges.
